A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold over six tens of millions of copies globally in 55 languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
To date, he has released more than 40 books combined, which features a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
Television and Literature
His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive in October.
